This one is so easy it hardly bears thinking about. Two awesome POP singles and the seemingly endless legs of Nadine alone, put Girls Aloud way ahead of No Doubt who are, to be frank, crap and feature a lead singer who is hitched to 'him from Bush'.

hella good is a peak in fairly boring aural history. If you want to know why Girls Aloud are the absolute shit just listen to the original of Jump, tis not a good song, but they made it a classic. Their timing and vocal intensity are truly a revelation, remeniscient of N'sync on Bye Bye Bye, which is of course fucking amazing

i thought the singles off the last No Doubt album were all okay, still some strange liking for 'Just A Girl' and 'New' as well. don't care for Girls Alahd much, Lukey are you SERIOUS about the original 'Jump' not being good, I can't see how the vocals on the cover are better really tho I like the editing in it esp. at the end.

Girls Aloud - good cos the music makes you wanna jump about and shake your behind (i.e. "if this comes on in a club then I'm dancing buckaroo") and also good cos they are super sexy.

No Doubt - Crap because the music plods along, Gwen has an annoying voice and the whole ska-punk thing is dull, dull, dull. Also, despite Ms Stefani being shaggable, they are not in the slightest bit interesting.
