Elefant is another band trying to re-create the post-punk and new wave feel of the early 80's.

I think they are ok, but everybody loves them. I prefer Mirah, best album of the year so far.

I downloaded part of the above. But that doesn't matter.

It is hard to find ONE good release every week. How about 60?

And I have to play indie rock or things that sound alike. I can't play jazz, reggae, etc.

I know that some songs I played are not new, but it is very hard to do the job.

At least I do not play Strokes and White Stripes every week.

But if you can help me, i would be glad.

the big question is does it have to be all recent stuff?

you could mix it up with some new wave/post punk, plus pretty much anything from Nuggets II and their ilk will fit in nicely between the indie stuff (and probably catch more attention).
