And while you're there pick up Ruff Sqwad's "Roots" and D Double's "And I Will", the latter is just a snippet but it's HOT.

it's so hard to tell what's "new" and what's not anymore. (this is vaguely what i meant when i said it's "not moving fast enough", btw, adam.)

giddy-up!

how can you criticise a cottage industry whose records you (can't) wait for until the download? what do you want from it strongo?

and don't even try it with the stelfoxian "i was therrreeeeeee" argument, k thnx

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Monday, 31 May 2004 21:50 (twenty-two years ago)

(also there were tons [okay maybe just dozens] of hardcore/jungle comps available in the US as it happened [to say nothing of 2-step] whereas right now we have dizzee's album, which is a bit like only being able to get black secret technology or something.)

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Monday, 31 May 2004 21:53 (twenty-two years ago)

This is old?

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Monday, 31 May 2004 22:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Maybe junglists were all secret trustafarians?

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Monday, 31 May 2004 23:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Really though the jungle comps were a result of the pre-existing audience within America for rave/ardkore. There's no comparable audience for grime - hip hop already has that audience on lock. The issue isn't supply (as strongo's gripe kinda suggests) so much as demand.
