this 'dust' song is really quite brilliant. and really quite addictive.

from what i've heard, the album isnt half bad either. despite the questionable name, this guy could be the best new 'soul' (although theres a lot of pop (esp. 70s pop), rock, blues, and funk in there also) artist in quite a while.

definitely the best new soul artists in ages, and miles from what you associate with "neo-soul" -- no drippy overproduction, no laughable pillow-talking. straightforward, genuinely soulful, heady in the right places and totally sharp throughout.

yes, the best new male soul artist to come along in an aeon. he's actually made me want to check out more of the neo soul artists i ignored after they all started sounding overtly similar. just in case i missed anything, that is.
