What percentage of a record's net profit does a distributor normally take?

Also, are there any articles on line you can direct me to that address this question?

If you believe our old record company, 99%. At least that was their excuse for never freaking paying us. "Blame the distributor, they messed up, boo hoo, etc."

Most indie distros mark stuff up 20-30% from my experience, with 25% being the norm.
