I just listened to My Favorite Things this weekend, but I haven't listened to anything by the Fall in months, if not years.

Jesus, you're a dick. Turning off what someone else was already playing is an asshole move no matter what it is. Learn some fucking manners, cunt-face.

Yeah, I was about to say the same, albeit in a less blunt way. When I used to be on college radio, there was this thing called DJ etiquette. Because the station featured several different types of music, often the DJ I went on after was playing a type of music totally foreign to what I was about to play (for example, a long jazz, blues or even classical piece). And yet it was always assumed that you let that last piece play to the very end unless you politely asked the preceding DJ if they minded if you faded it out or if they took the initiative and let you know they didn't mind if you faded it out. Most of the time I recall others respecting this same etiquette when I was ending my own show. It makes sense not just to be fair to the preceding DJ, but also to any listeners out there who may be digging the previous track.

Hey folks!! I didn't turn off any ones broadcast!! I just turned off the radio in the officeto listen to The Fall!! Helloaaahhh!! By the way I love Coltrane but I can listen to him anytime I want to. We just got the new Fall disc today and I wanted to hear it ......

brg30 (brg30), Monday, 14 June 2004 23:32 (twenty-two years ago)

YAY I DON'T HAVE TO CHANGE THE STATION

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 14 June 2004 23:33 (twenty-two years ago)

i suppose y'all are kinda justified in calling it the new fall lp, but, you know...

tom west (thomp), Monday, 14 June 2004 23:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, frankly I'm confused. I thought "The Real New Fall" LP was another name for "Country On The Click" and was not in fact, a new Fall album. Am I just on crack?
