This was a post from Lance McGannon (occasional writer for Grooves magazine, host of the fine Inaudible radio show in Cleveland) to the Vulvland discussion group:

"Yes the Slow cd does indeed exist. I was lucky enough to get my copy a few years ago in a trade with a guy who wanted some old Autechre 12" I had. In general, the style of the release is in the glitchy mego-esque experimental electronics but produced several years before the Mego label started. The sound of the release is quite raw compared to the subsequent output of both producers and doesnt really sound like anything else either artist has done since. I'm sure Slow was quite innovative for when it was produced but it sounds alittle dated now. The glitchy experimental electronica sound has come along way since that time. Here are the details of it."

i've got it. it's cool but not great - doesn't really sound like you would hope a randomiz/werner collision would. like everything on gefriem, i think it might be prized a bit more for it's rarity than it's actual content. i'm still looking for the 1/tau CD, though...

Actually saw this in the used bin at the record store this very morning. But I had no idea it was sought after so i elected to get 'The Sound of Cologne' comp instead, which has a nice track by FX Rand.
