Best Unplugged / Strictly accoustic album?

Personally I think MTV Unplugged has managed to bring out the best in certain bands/artists. KISS' Unplugged might be their best effort and made them seem almost like legitimate artists. Nirvana Unplugged is the only Nirvana album I can still listen to, and their choices of covers are interesting at the least. Not sure if I've a favorite accoustic performance in general though. Perhaps "Stripped" by the Rolling Stones, though thats really just an amalgamation of a few club dates and some separately recorded accoustic material.

Opinions?

The whole "Unplugged" schtick needs to be retired. It's so obligatory now that whatever "specialness" it had is completely lost. Toss the band, but keep the electric guitar.

Having said that, the best one is Robyn Hitchcock's Eye

Tell me about it. Jay-Z, of all people, has one.

not that it's an 'unplugged' album, but the joao gilberto from 1971 (called the white album) is a quiet stunner, just voice and guitar, a little bit of percussion.
