What is this feeling I am having? It must just be the excitment, a little aniexty. Take a deep breath. I'll be alright.


I hoped that nothing would go wrong. I had worked so hard and long to be right where I was, in that moment. My youngest waved to me from the scaffoldiong. I waved back. That was it.

GO!

I ran
out onto the stage. I was there! It was happening! I joined in step with the children. The layers of my robe flew outward, encircling me with vivid color and motion. Oh my God, this was the moment I could really see and hear the people.
The dreamer and the dream had merged; we are now one. It was an ecstatic union.

Diana should really write more of her own material. Music that matched this level of grandiose self-involvement would have to be brilliant. Wouldn't it?
