This would be the 29th or 30th, I believe. I'm just trying to leech off someone and get a free ride so I won't have to take a 4 hr Greyhound trip in order to get there. So is anyone else interested? If not, well, it won't be the end of it all for me. But I WILL hate ya foreva!

If I'm not mistaken, the Amtrak station is right across the street from the Alameda Co. Fairgrounds.

A family fun day at the Alameda County Fair is your best entertainment buy and BART is the way to get there. Beginning Friday, June 25 through Sunday, July 11, Wheels will provide daily shuttle bus service between the Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station and the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton.
Wheels Routes 7 and 8 will provide direct service to the Alameda County Fair, providing 30-minute service during peak hours (6:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.-7 p.m.) and hourly service during off-peak hours between the fairgrounds and the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station on weekdays and every 30-minutes on Saturdays and Sundays.
Additionally, Wheels will be offering a free ride back with its E-Ticket, available now at www.wheelsbus.com. Just print, cut and present the free Wheels E-Ticket to the Wheels bus operator when boarding at the Fairgrounds for the trip back to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station. The one-way fare for bus service to the fair from the Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station is $1.25. For additional information call the Wheels Transit Information Center at 925.455-7500.
Fair admission is $9 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, and $6 for children 6-12, children under 6 are free.
