I just watched a batch of Miike films and the music in them is always amazing--sort of ambient Boredoms, sort of. Or sleepy, no vocals MBV-ish noises.

He usually employs a person named Kôji Endô.

But where would a person find such tone?

The Ichi soundtrack is done by Karera Musication, which features all of the Boredoms members except Eye, I believe.

I thought this as well, but then watched the film again on dvd, and EYE was mentioned. ATR too I think. They stood out because they were in english amongst a load of japanese text.
