At work now & can't listen, but it's first on my list when I get home. This has GOT to be awesomely cool. Returning to the air would be a good gig for Sly -- who wouldn't want to tune in to a nationally-syndicated "Sly-Time" show?

that is a brilliant idea! i dont think i even want to hear what hes been recording as of late (if anything), but he could quite easily carve out a good career for himself as a radio personality.

even though there's only snippets of the songs he plays on that file, they all sound excellent. supposedly sly used to slide a lot of unexpected songs into his playlists, but id really love to know more about what he played (the most common thing written about it is that he played dylan and the beatles in between soul & R&B).
