TS: Online vs Highstreet Record Shops

Hmm - conclusion. HMV caters for those desperate to catch up. What a useful point (if not particularly news)!

I would have posted more from the article, but had to *dash* somewhere.

My take: the internet is good as I have bought many things I would never have found, as soon as I have thought "What was that one like, really".

My take: The internet is bad for the same reason.

Internet all the way, haven't bought anything from a shop in months. Mainly due to the fact its a good hour long drive to get to something that isn't a Woolworths or a Smiths which sucks, and even then HMV/Virgin are all pretty shit unless they've got a decent sale on - at which point I tend to buy everything, which again is shit.

So record stores = shit, online shops = great
