Hi
just got back from sonar. there was a track that I think both miss kitten and either tiga or dj hell played that got everyone going.

It had this "wee-weeeeeeeoooo" type noise with a beat behind it, then there was a big guitar stompy bit that would come and they turned the lights up and everyone put their hands in the air then it would go back to the wee-weeooo bit again. repeat until effective.

anyone got any ideas what the track is? sorry for the bollox explanation

Does it sound anything like a kiddie version of Curve with cowbell, as heard through a '79 Pinto?

If so, it's probably Alter Ego's "Rocker".

While we're doing sonar track i.d.s what was that tune that Tiga played at around 6am on Saturday? He mixed out to silence and then brought in this tune that starts with just a mid-range bassline and carries on that way for ages before the kicks come in, sorry really can't describe it much better than that but if anybody can help, 'preciated kthxbye.

i take that back, it was the original mix of the alter ego track that was being played at sonar.

G'luck finding the original release - it was a one-sided 12" on Klang and quite hard to get. However the original is also available on the Transphormer album and on the (jsut released) Blackstrobe remix...

yeah I see that from discogs.com. blackstrobe remix one for me I think. Just off to try and get it now :)

I love this track - I've been trying to find out the name of it was for weeks, real fist-pumping stuff!

Yeah I ended up splashing out on the album on vinyl. Not listened to the rest too much yet but most of it sounds pretty rockin'
