All I know is that it wasn't The Song Remains the Same. INTENSE live show. Jimmy Page is wearing a vest. One of the best versions of "Moby Dick" I've ever heard. That's all I can tell you. Is this the DVD that came out in 2003?

Isn't that DVD five hours long, though? That's a lot of footage to wade through, Roger. Good luck.

five hours of live Zep beats five hours of almost anything else I can think of

How about a five hour date with a robotic blow-job machine made out of candy, with the soul of a magic genie that will grant you any three wishes you can think of trapped inside it?

Is it a sweater vest? If so, it could from the DVD

Pagey's wearing a sweater (and white tennis shoes) on the first concert on the DVD, from Royal Albert Hall in '70. Blistering show, especially opener "We're gonna groove." The version of 'I Can't Quit You' was later edited and released on Coda.

There's some footage of John Paul Jones playing an extended organ solo on that DVD, and there's an old cream-colored rotary phone sitting on top of the organ.

A buddy and I were watching it, pretty stoned, and I wondered aloud who was playing the still-audiable bass.

"He's playing it with his feet, man. He's got pedals down there."

At that, another shot of the telephone came on, and he suggested that I call Jones and congratulate him.

Just the thought of calling the number and seeing the telephone ring on the DVD, well, nevermind. It was pretty funny at the time.
