Who would win? Handicaps include Tweedy totally blanked out on downers and Yauch, uh, meditating.

Kathleen Hannah wins.

do the beasties get mixmaster mike?

Tweedy would get dizzy and puke on Yauch, Tweedy wins. Also I think the other members of Wilco are probably younger than the other two B-Boys, but maybe not in as good shape? That would be a draw. Let's not forget Mario C, who might be brought in as a ringer. Mixmaster Mike would have little effect and in fact might fuck up the rhythm of the fight for the B-Boys.

I think Wilco could take them.

Yes, Mixmaster Mike is in. Heck, we'll even set Rick Rubin on the sidelines eating a bucket of rib tips.

Party Pants, Friday, 25 June 2004 15:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Don't forget John Stirrat, who's got the same build as a tight-muscled carney.

I totally forgot about Nels Cline as well. Nels Cline>>>that one dude who quit. Although Tweedy might regret being on bad terms with Jay Farrar, since he could use a doughy bruiser in a fight like this.

Gear! (Gear!), Friday, 25 June 2004 15:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Jim O'Rourke would have "doughy" covered.

o'rourkes a midget though...

what about DJ Hurracane....if he counts then beasties all the way.

do the beasties get to have steve martin on their team? he calls wilco's peeps and tells them the fight is at the corner of broadway and houston. but then he moves the fight to lafayette and houston without telling them, and as tweedy and company are walking up houston toward broadway, the beasties ambush 'em.

fact checking cuz (fcc), Friday, 25 June 2004 15:57 (twenty-one years ago)

would Wilco get Pitchfork's "zombie indie undead" team on their side? they might just eat the B-Boys.

Well, if this takes place inside the thunder dome, and Wilco all have wheels in stead of legs and the Beastie Boys are inside of a hollowed out 150 foot gorilla, as logically, the fight would take place, than obviously the answer is Mattlock.

David Allen (David Allen), Friday, 25 June 2004 17:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Shoot, Jessica Fletcher would have Mattlock's ass 0WN3D1!1!1!1
