my friend put out "I Made It Out of Clay" - a Hannukah pop compilation. My favorite was Winterbrief's "Menorah Mall"... It's on Little Shirley Beans records. Its kinda cute.

I remember a cracking version of Maoz Tsur on a Chassidic Song Festival album my parents used to play incessantly. A touch of the baroque, with some strange turns of melody. The Shema Yisrael on that album was the funkiest thing ever...

I Made You Out Of Clay comp is wonderful. Its also the only album I can think of at the moment.
