(why hasn't anyone done a dnb twista remix yet btw?)

benito mussolinington (dubplatestyle), Monday, 28 June 2004 10:36 (twenty-one years ago)

i prefer 'People4'. Dynamite LP's good though.

martin (martin), Monday, 28 June 2004 10:39 (twenty-one years ago)

"people4" IS good, but i like this better mostly because of the truesteppers/"red hot car" breakdown.

I read this as "Ms Dynamite" and got very very confused.

haha, benito, i wz listening to rubberband man remix the other day and thought that the beat would be a good one to jack for a dnb tune, and then twista comes in and pretty much does that with his flow. so i kinda think dnb beats would get in the way. i mean, sonically, i was headnodding to his flow the same way i would to old dillinja amen traks.

then again, twista replacing skibadee on jungle mixes would be fire!

i saw the dynamite album in a shop today, but i'm a bit skeptical. i mean, are you liking it more because you crave some more polished grime with an mc on top, or is dynamite that hot?

also, does anyone know about the wizzbit mix on bingo? i heard that dizzee's on it - is this true?

nebbesh (nebbesh), Monday, 28 June 2004 12:44 (twenty-one years ago)

it's the Slimzee mix on bingo. Dizzee, D Double E and Crazy D spit over one tune each during the CD.

martin (martin), Monday, 28 June 2004 13:15 (twenty-one years ago)

dizzee and d double, and they only get one tune each. whatawaste!

nebbesh (nebbesh), Monday, 28 June 2004 13:45 (twenty-one years ago)

well the dynamite album is more like a great gimmick ala zinc's faster...starts with hip-hop, then garage, and finally dnb. production by skitz, fusion, wookie, zinc, tnt, size, high contrast, marky, and some people i am forgetting. it's just a very entertaining record.

I read this thread as "miss dynamite" and got scared.

Haha, I'm going senile. Figures it would be Dom who beat me, too.
