Ah, but I'm getting ahead of myself, as always. Whoopsie.

Mixture of baroque cembalo, heavy metal guitars, mickey mouse voices and a lead singer singing in a strange language (probably European maybe Hungarian?). Quite funny but not especially inspiring.

...momus should like this ;-)

...trying to hard to do to many directions at once and not succeeding in any.

Public service announcement : since we've not had one of these for a while, might be worth stating again that this is not a "Guess The Artist" thread.

I was expecting someone to submit something in this vein sooner or later - indeed have been looking forward to it. I quite liked the eclecticism of this track. Not sure I'd have it in my house, 'though.

I'll admit that I quite like some prog rock but this reminds me of that genre's greatest excesses - ELP or Wakeman, mainly. Too much stuff all over the place.

i think i heard those mickey mouse voices say "down with the bible". are they there for subliminal satanic effect? strange...

good for a laugh or at least, about 4.23 minutes worth of listening, i'd say....oh, its lucky........

Strange is good. All over the place is good. This is like the Japanese Mike Patton.

Yes, yes, I was going to mention the Asian Faith No More vibe. (Well, not Faith No More, but one of those there Patton-led bands.) Not to be confused with Dureforsog, which exudes the Swedish Faith No More vibe. (Or is that Danish?)

sounds japanese to me. it seems to be a good idea at the time, but it's to much irony for my taste. there is a line between cool and cheesy and this is way beyond it. the irony thing in japanese pop (or what i perceive as irony, even if this particular track may not be japanese) usually puts me off.

oh man, this record is funny! i don't know if i'd want to hear it again though. at first i thought 'east european progmetal', but then it did seem more and more japanese as it went on. whoever mentioned Mike Patton seems to have the right idea.
