BTW Yes, English newspapers like to use the word "buggery" a lot. Any excuse will do, especially if it's a case like this... Probably brings back fond memories for the hacks of their public school days or something!!! Not just newspaper folk, but also MPs as well!!! Any debate even remotely involving a whiff of gay rights and you have Conservative MPs queuing up to use their favourite swearword with impunity in the Mother of Parliaments!!!!! The Lords are even worse!!! But then again, that's a bit like stating that people from Doncaster might find the Atlantic Ocean a bit wet!!!
