"Recently, Hickey opened for the Voodoo Glow Skulls. During their set, they continually ragged on the VGS. The VGS complained to the club's management, threatening that they would not play unless Hickey was thrown out of the building. So, Hickey got thrown out, but one intrepid member managed to steal one of the VGS's trumpets. Within a few days, Hickey started receiving death threats from Epitaph and the VGS. Facing these threats, Hickey mailed back the trumpet. Soon after, the classic seven inch "Hickey vs the Voodoo Glow Skulls" was issued, one side with Hickey songs and the other with the death threats from Epitaph. Overdubbed in the background, Hickey is playing the VGS's stolen trumpet. And Epitaph and the Voodoo Glow Skulls aren't taking legal action because all proceeds from the Hickey 7" are going to charity."
