That's not entirely surprising, not knowing the artists participating (though finding a way to avoid Destiny's Child is quite impressive). And taste is so arbitrary - if it works for you, that's fine. If you want to diversify, go for it.

Ambrose, you're a beautiful person - don't change a THING.

Personally, I was surprised that one person was actually swayed by 3 of the selections to go out & buy some goodies. Anyone else affected in such a fashion?

that one person was actually swayed by 3 of the selections to go out & buy some goodies I probably repeat myself but the Pinback is really awesome. Very light, very melodic and the duo talk-singing in a very mellow way.
I only listened to the Jeff Beck once and have not really got into it yet. Just the track "Blackbird" where Jeff imitates a singing bird on his guitar was worth the money.

Ambrose - you are not alone. Apart fromp the two I submitted (whoops - a clue there, I haven't admitted to the second one yet) I have not recognised/known who any of the listening chambers were by either. I consider that to be a good thing.

I've gotten 1 out of 20.

I haven't known any of the answers either but have enjoyed listening to all of them. I agree with whoever about Pinback : I downloaded a lot of their tracks because of the chamber and now I've bought their latest cd as well.

My post got half trashed and I received an "undeliverable message" mail as there was a problem with [email protected] the address the yahoo address of the question poster forwards to if I understood well. Whatever here is my complete original post:

Do you think it was me David? Not quite. I bought two records the first Pinback (the new one is ordered) and the latest Jeff Beck. Was thinking of buying another one but it turned out that it was from an ILM poster (Mike Hanley I think) and loads of his stuff is on mp3.com for free. Downloaded it but haven't listened yet.
