AIDS Can't Stop Me vs. We Can't Be Stopped

two classic? records. AIDS is more engaging and rewards dozens of listens. it's a well-informed, multi-dimensional masterpiece. maybe too extreme?

have you heard Pink Nasty?

yes, she's on ACSM

she has her own album too. it's wild

I'd like to hear those two albums mixed together. We Can't Be Stopped By Aids or Midgetry, they could call it.

I'm interested in what you think of any one of those (three) albums.

Oh, I really like them all, but there's only one I like for the actual 'music' and not for the novelty, and that's Geto Boys (and that's not even their best album - the first one destroys We Can't Be Stopped)

last new year's eve, me and black nasty stuck our hands in a big buffet tray of lukewarm spaghetti at a guided by voices new year's eve show in san diego. nast fell asleep in the car afterwards, but me and hot flash and some bitch he knew stayed up all night doing coke at some jock house in north park.

that said, we can't be stopped is better. at least they don't talk about statutory rape on it. that's just wrong.

but hey how about scuba chicken, also known as scuba slim, http://www.midheaven.com/artists/scuba.chicken.html ?
i'd def put it up there with "AIDS..."
i totally disagree with this review http://www.stylusmagazine.com/review.php?ID=927
but i like how at the end he's utterly baffled by stones throw connection.

I immediately thought of "Nothing Can Stop Us Now" from Saint Etienne's first album. Naturally, that doesn't turn out to address the prompt. Pity.
