Word up that OTM! I remember somebody doing a video for the "later version" of Umbabarauma, all animated in crayon under scratched-away ink (whattaya call that technique?). Always think of that song while watching team Brasil on the tube.

Has anyone heard a version of this song by Sweet? I swear that I had one night, but nothing in All Music shows they ever did the Roe song or anything else with a similar title. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

This may not be a direct answer; or it may be as direct as you choose! Whatever. Anyways, in the entirety of recorded sound, I personally feel that there is no finer groove than the one propelling War's "Low Rider". You can argue about what makes a great dance song and never arrive at an answer because there IS no definitive answer, of course. All I know is that no other song can compell my own personal body to move with the efficiency and urgency of "Low Rider". Whether those movements include rump shakings depends on outside factors such as alcohol content.
