the newest namlook and jochem paap (speedy j) release is pretty incredible. also been listening to this stardust album by sol which is trance (but very tasteful, sort of like airdrawndagger by sasha). are any of namlooks collabs with klaus schulze any good? i've been wanting to get into that part of the fax catalouge but don't know where to start.

due to new music overload/boredom, i have reverted back to my roots (sort of) and gone all ambient and suchlike.
this week tis all about the 70 minute drones ...
soo many fantastic working soundtracks - tonight has all been about 'electro harmonix' by a gorgeous collab between testsu inoue and jonah sharp, last night i loved the sheer minimalism (ha) of chris meloche's 'recurring dreams ..' epic (a 73 minute snapshot of a 6 hour broadcast if memory serves me right)
of course my stuff is all from the 94 period as i moved onto pastures new.
so, the question is, anyone have any of the latest FAX stuff - how have things progressed - better/worse/indifferent ?
.. i have dug around and the cover art on the later releases is now way off from all the colour coding and symbolism that the first set of releases adhered to.
