I want this, but it looks like a UK-only release so far. Any US-release offing in the future, anyone?

Or, how about this: are any of her EPs worth the dosh it takes to get it from Warpmart? (Aside from Prickle which is pure goodness.)

"Pin Skeeling" is just as good as "Prickle".

This new release looks interesting ... from the Warp site :

The orchestral version of Nunu and Mira Calix made their live debut
together at The Royal Festival Hall on 8 March that year as part of the Ether Festival where she performed the track with living insects on stage in a collaboration with The London Sinfonietta. Mira worked and rehearsed with the Sinfonietta and their musical directors Sound Intermedia to create an entirely new arrangement of the piece. This stunning interplay between live insects and the neo-classical strains of The Sinfonietta is also captured on the album.

LIVE INSECTS!

Skimskitta knocks One On One (her first album) out of the water. "Sparrow" from LP1 is still awesome though.

I'm kind of in a hurry to hear her EPs because they're ON SALE AT WARPMART.

Heh, I would say the opposite.
I guess the take-home message is : IT'S ALL GOOD.

Barry, it's always the devil in the details with us!

Yep, we always agree on the bands but disagree on the picks ...

three weeks pass...
I finally sprung for this from good old Warpmart, so that I also got the Nunu CD free. I have to say though, that the single version is better than any of the tracks on 3 Commissions even though I think that the version on 3 C is the same.
