I say this perhaps because I know every single track on it and remember how big every single one was at the time. not that i was a complete authority in this respect. it's just that my memory is so clear for every single track. this strikes me as very rare despite the saturation of this market. i would recommend this to anyone who wanted to know what the big cheesy anthems were in the UK in the 90s.

my only gripes are that the original of 'Le Voie Le Soleil' is better than the WOW remix, the inclusions of M/A/R/R/S and Black Box seem a bit odd as they're the only 80s tracks and seem tokenistic as a result. i think the 'rave pop' side is reasonably well covered, i can't think of any glaring omissions that would be worthwhile generally. practically perfect for what it attempts to do.

Isn't this called "Playing With Voice in Germany"? Anyway, it's a great tune, glad to see it's not totally forgotten.

The problem with these sort of "retrospectives" is that they tend to exclude the more cheesier tunes, however massive they maight've been back then.
