....having finally picked the above up on cd since having misplaced the vinyl some time ago. thought maybe someone else might have a favourite r.g. album they wanna mention.

I was just listening to 'Rory Gallagher' this afternoon -- a nice mix of great electric stuff and some more subtle moments. Eric Clapton should pay heed.

I also love 1979's 'Top Priority' -- more consistently electric, with some great writing.

I'm partial to the live RG stuff - "Live in Europe" and "Irish Tour" are both intensely great, with little if any overlap. Irish Tour has "Walk On Hot Coals," which really screams.
