How's The New Bjork?

I heard "Who is It" on the radio and thought it was quite good. That "Handin' it over" line keeps getting stuck in my head.

The mouth sounds concept is interesting though it doesn't warrant any merit on its own. Sometimes it seems like every other day NPR is interviewing some schmuck who made some terrible album entirely using mouth sounds.

mark grout (mark grout), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 05:57 (twenty-one years ago)

Heard it yesterday at a listening post in one of those offbeat music joints in the Ginza. Pure shite.

The version of Oceania with Kelis on it is very good.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 12:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Doesn't "How's the new Bjork?" sounds like a question a middle aged man would ask his neighbor? Like, "Hows the Dodge running?" or "How's the new flat screen?"

Hurting (Hurting), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 20:13 (twenty-one years ago)

(Methinks) it grows wearisome after th' initial rush.

Jay Vee (Manon_70), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 21:01 (twenty-one years ago)

It's the best Chinese opera album EVER.

This is patently false!

Doesn't "How's the new Bjork?" sounds like a question a middle aged man would ask his neighbor?

that'd be creepy if they did that in iceland, though

this interview is absolutely BRILLIANT http://grapevine.is/Features/ReadArticle/Bjork-Feature

she's so smart and articulate and passionate. also, m.i.a., this is what it looks like when a pop star does actual political activism.
