which of tim kashers projects do you like more and/or think is ultimately more important (popular, critically better, etc.)

As far as I know, I've never heard a song from either... and I don't intend to break that streak now.

i thought domestica was a good album when it came out in a fake afghan whigs way; I didn't like the good life record. I saw the good life in the UK a few years ago and it was alright; I saw cursive a few weeks ago and it was abominable. so, it's a draw.

the new good life cd hasnt left my cd player this month, i dont know why Tim doesnt get more credit, while everything conor oberest does is fawned over by spin

my friend says this too. I don't believe him but maybe I'll give it a listen.

Speaking of Conor in SPIN, I saw the picture last night of he and Emmylou Harris standing side by side and it made me want to cry.

Why, Emmylou? Why?!

BOLD ROCK-CRITIC-LIKE POMPUS STATEMENT ALERT

i think "Album of the year" (first song off the new good life) is as good as "tangled up in blue"

prefer good life to cursive.. dude has an interesting voice, like a more likeable oberst

agreed, bright eyes is cool, but the good life is much more for the common man, if that makes any sense

Jackson, Wednesday, 29 September 2004 22:30 (twenty-one years ago)

bright eyes is cool

Why again should any of us listen to whatever you're talking about?

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Wednesday, 29 September 2004 22:36 (twenty-one years ago)

because if you dont I'll cry in a fetal position, saddle creek style

Jackson, Wednesday, 29 September 2004 22:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Tim's stuff isn't as catchy as Conor's

one month passes...
Sub Question:
A: Which is a better album: "Album of the Year" (AotY)(full band) or "AotY" (Acoustic) ?
B: Which do you prefer: AotY (full band) or AotY (Acoustic)?

eight years pass...

I find myself returning to Black Out as much as any Cursive album. A near perfect mope-pop album, loaded with killer songs. And it captures that small window when it seemed like glitch-pop would be a thing (and a full year before The Postal Service, at that). Some of my favorite late-night long-drive music.
