Laughing Stock - A Question..

Reading an article written by Phill Brown, the engineer on LS, I came across a section where he stated that the vinyl version is longer than the CD.
Can anyone confirm this and does anyone know what the differences between each version are?

Had the vinyl, sold it, got the disc - if there's a diff, it's nothing that leaps out at you.
