OK. It's 18 tracks long and live with people going woo all the way thru. And it is fucking great. But I dunno who it is. You can d/l a wee sample of the first track

Messed that up, didn't I? Here's that link. Easy--!

Goodness, I have no idea what it is but I like it. If you find out what it is, do let me know.

Aargh this is so irritating...I know this, but I forgot who it is. Problem is, it could be Mills but also some Chain Reaction dude. (doesn't this track also appear towards the end on Hawtin's Decks & FXs & 909 mix?)

not much help, sorry.

could it be that Mayday mix from around '97? is there any Latin house on it (he plays two Basement Jaxx tracks in the one i'm thinking of)

Freelance Hiveminder (blueski), Tuesday, 26 October 2004 09:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, it has a Latin House track on it. There's also a "Let Freedom Ring" speech by Martin Luther King on track 12. Sound like Derrick May?

Good Dog, Tuesday, 26 October 2004 10:31 (twenty-one years ago)

nope, not derrick may. the track is "trapped" by an artist called syphon. i bet omar heard it on "the workout", carl craig's mix from 02.

the mix you've got your hands on is francois k's live at sonar.

see you in the slsk chatroom, dogg.

The ever-encycopeidic vahid comes through! Now I remember. I downloaded it last month because Francois K was spinning at the Nagisa trance event on a Sunday afternoon in Tokyo and I was wondering whether he was worth enduring all the hippies for. It was raining so we didn't go, so looks like I missed out. This is a really nice set. Cheers vahid!
