Has anyone else been messed about by Warp records while doing street team stuff?

I joined the warp street team a while ago. It was grand for a while, usual stuff. Flyers, cds for shops, free cds, free gig tickets etc. Then, the person who was handling things in an effective manner left to be replaced by various people who didn't seem to know what was going on and who asked me to do stuff and then never followed through with the goods. I wrote them an email asking what was going on a while ago and have had no response. Has anyone else had a similar experience with these guys?

[I know it's not a big deal but it's not the type of behaviour I would associate with these otherwise outstanding people and I'm a bit hacked off about there being no explanation whatsoever.]

it's Warp's advanced way of telling you that street teamers are worthless and ridiculous

my guess is that it's probably not a huge priority for them, and they just haven't had any surplus swag to give away for a while. They haven't had a big release for a while that I can think of.

street teamers are worthless and ridiculous - I am aware of this but if someone wants to give me free warp stuff for doing a very small number of things then that's fine with me.

They haven't had a big release for a while that I can think of. - I realise that and that's not the problem I have with them. I can totally accept that they haven't had anything for me to do. It's just the fact that I have been totally ignored by an organisation which seems otherwise to have a great deal of respect for the people that are involved with it and who purchase its products. They have gone down in my estimation quite a lot as result and I was wondering if anyone had had a similar experience. I'd totally expect this from a big & shit record company but wouldn't have predicted it from warp.

Warp changed their street team, it is now located deep under the Atlantic ocean, where a budding few electrocute each others genitalia in the name of Warp.

I hear there's a splinter cult where a budding few use pre-Low Voltage Directive generators to electrocute their genitalia in the name of Rephlex.
