Haloween songs that don't suck

I have to dj at a halowe'en party for some friends, and being a lazy fuck thought i'd ask for suggestions of halowe'en songs that don't suck. The crowd are not gonna be all music addicts, so far i'm looking at
release the bats - birthday party
haloween - misfits
zombie nation - kernkraft 4000
Satan - Orbital
freaks come out at night - whooddini
pretend were dead - L7
Scary monsters - bowie
ghost rider - Suicide

Which should be enough to clear the party. Can anyone suggest any more, that don't suck and your average joe/sharon might like?

Thanks for any help...

And "2000 Light Years From Home" used to creep me out in a most delicious way when I was a kid.

Helloween - Halloween

Masquerade, masquerade,
Grab your mask and don't be late
Get out get out well disguised
Heat and fever in Ihe air tonight

Meet the others at the store,
Knock on other people's door
Trick or treat they have the choice
little ghost's are makin'lotsa noise

But watch out . . beware -
listen . . .take care

In the streets on Halloween
There's something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on Halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, it's hell or pardise
Ah - it's Halloween
Ah - it's Halloween..tonight!

Someone's sitting in a field,
Never giving yield
Sltting there with gleaming eyes
Waiting for big punpkin to arise
Bad luck if you get a stone
Like the good oId Charlie Brown
You think Linus could be right
The kids will say it's just a stupid lie

But watch out...beware -
listen...take care

In the streets on Halloween
There's something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on Halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, it's hell or pardise
Ah - it's Halloween
Ah - it's Halloween..tonight!

Listen now- we are calling you...
And there's maglc in the air
Magic in the air... on Halloween

Black is the night full of fright
You'II be missing the day
What will be here very soon
Changing your way
A knock at your door
Is it real or is it a dream
On trembling legs you open the door
And you scream. . . . .on Halloween

Darkness
Where am I now
Is there anybody out there
What has happened
Am I in heaven
Or is it hell

I can see a Light comin'
It's comin' nearer
It's shining
It's shining so bright
It's shining on me

I am the one, doom 's in my hands
Now make your choice,
redeemed or enslaved

I'll show you passion ang glory
He Is the snake
I'll give you power and abundance
He's the corrupter of man

Save me from the evil one
Give me strength to carry on
I will fight for all mankind's
deliverance and peace of mind

But watch out...beware -
listen...take care

In the streets on Halloween
There's something going on
No way to escape the power unknown
In the streets on Halloween
The spirits will arise
Make your choice, it's hell or pardise
Ah - it's Halloween
Ah - it's Halloween..tonight!

Yeah, It's Halloween
Yeah, it's Halloween. . .tonight

poop (poop), Thursday, 28 October 2004 04:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Loads of these songs really don't suck, but i think some people are missing the point.

It's a party were there are gonna be people who want to dance, and are normal, and not into music (like your Mum).

Love bug starsky - Amityville is more the type of thing, than Rob Zombie - "House of 1000 Corpses".

Thanks for trying everyone, but your mostly wildly off mark.

Still some good song suggestions if it wasn't a party for average Joe's.

I'm gonna have to just play Thriller and the Monster Mash all night i guess.

Screaming Lord Sutch - "'Till the Following Night" and "Jack the Ripper"

Mike O., Thursday, 28 October 2004 16:17 (twenty-one years ago)

On the spoken, non-song tip, there's T. Valentine's "Vampire Radio Spot" from his HELLO LUCILLE, ARE YOU A LESBIAN collection. And Louise Huebner's "Seduction Spells Through Witchcraft" (I can't remember if that is the title of the track or the CD though).

Have fun while the gates are open!

I wrote one, once. It is not my best work, but it doesn't really suck. It's in B, that is quite unusual for me.

Black Widow 'Come To The Sabbat'

misterchildren, Saturday, 30 October 2004 10:10 (twenty-one years ago)

My personal favorite Halloween-themed song is Redbone's "Witch Queen of New Orleans", so that could be a good song to add to the list.

Um, hi and bye.
