It was inevitable that this thread would start, so don't even complain.

My vote goes to CRCR both for the original album, and for the reissue.

CRCR - S&L L&R had almost all songs that were widely available on bootlegs. CRCR has the real juicy stuff!

I can't WAIT for Wowee Zowee Deluxe...

they are my children. I love them both equally. And yet I want more...

S&E: L&D

If all re-issues were that good, there would be no more war, poverty or human suffering. We'd all be united under our love for Peel Sessions and embossed casing.

Take the Trigger Cut b-sides, the Watery Domestic EP, and Greenlander and you have my favorite Pavement collection of all time.

as for the proper albums, it's a dead heat - one edging the other out depending on my mood. As for the reissues, I gotta go with S&E:L&R. Sure, most of this stuff has been floating around in one form or another. But you really can't fuck with those two Peel Sessions, Watery Domestic/ + sessions and "Baptist Blacktick" (probably my favorite cut from Westing...) all in one handsome package.

seven years pass...

Can anyone show me a band that do the kinda-stoney Jam Kids/Haunt You Down thing? Like a band that makes a whole career out of that
