Then you probably wouldn't be earning more than in your day job. I know a guy who turned down an offer to replace Jimmy McCullough, partly because the retainer was only 40 quid a week.

I thought this was going to be about the sitcom. Wouldn't it be great if there were sitcom tribute bands who travelled from town to town re-enacting episodes of departed sitcoms?

If you don't think it would be great, would it be at least as great as a Wings tribute band?
