Is this Apostle of Hustle album as good as I think it is after half a spin?

I'm only a few tracks into Folkloric Feel and I'm really loving it? Has anyone else heard it? It's yet another disc from a Broken Social Scene member and there's definitely a sonic connection.

i think so - it's awesome. love the BSS sound but with the cuban influence. it has a shot at being on my top 10 this year.

Yeah, it works quite well. After just one listen, I don't think it'll crack my year-end top 10, but it's certainly got a chance. It's a very carefully put together album, with smart use of dynamics.

They're so bland. Even the "exotic" elements in their songs seem forced and lifeless.
