I am planning on going to Tokyo, Japan at the end of this year.

I was hoping people could suggest bands/venues that are worth checking out.

Ageha is a great warehouse venue just outside of Tokyo. The great Yogi just played there last night. It was predictably out of this fucking world.
Liquid Room and the Loft are also places you may want to look for shows.

Cay in Aoyama, Milk in Ebisu, Super Deluxe in Roppongi, Star Pines Cafe in Kichijoji.

Bar Drop in Kichijoji - Club Heaven, 2nd Saturday of each month, indie-schmindie.
