Some of the music is definately worth a listen, but jesus christ, the bands have really surpassed themselves with their shit names. Surely?

as far as I can tell, I'm not missing anything at all. but if they were good, I'd never care, I just feel BAD seeing these names in the Voice. terrible branding.

Q: my friend's band is called Julia Marvel (playing at Union Pool on Friday). 4 dudes. I think they are named after a girl in the neighborhood that we don't know. bad name? I always try to call them Marvel Girl, or The Julia Styles.
