big boo (+dancefloor), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Dude, I hear you. Compared to "White Flag," the rest of the album was such a let down.

Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:00 (twenty-one years ago)

hahaha

adam west (adamwest), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:00 (twenty-one years ago)

f-a-b-o-l-o-u-s (adamwest), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:09 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm so glad I have this tonight so that I can BLAST it all the way to work in the car and have other drives look at me and think "freak".

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:09 (twenty-one years ago)

xpost
YES

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:10 (twenty-one years ago)

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:10 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah, i have to say, this thread title was totally inspired.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:11 (twenty-one years ago)

"robot rock" makes so much more sense after "the prime time of your life".

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:14 (twenty-one years ago)

"robot rock" makes so much more sense at 192kbps.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:15 (twenty-one years ago)

We are really helping Dido's career.

Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:15 (twenty-one years ago)

I thank you big boo.

Lingbertt, Monday, 24 January 2005 08:16 (twenty-one years ago)

i thank you big boo for the laffs, the tunes, the good times

j blount (papa la bas), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:16 (twenty-one years ago)

We should take bets to see how long it takes for the YSI link up there to expire.

Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:17 (twenty-one years ago)

im doing another link now.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:18 (twenty-one years ago)

You are not helping the war on terror.

Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:20 (twenty-one years ago)

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:30 (twenty-one years ago)

"the brainwasher" is my favorite so far. it's brain melting.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:36 (twenty-one years ago)

although "technologic" is making a very strong case for itself here.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:39 (twenty-one years ago)

i kind of want to stay awake long enough to be here when britain finds out about this.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:40 (twenty-one years ago)

This is Dido's best album ever!!!

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Technologic is very much a retread of "Harder Faster Better More." I don't think many people will be complaining though.

Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:47 (twenty-one years ago)

first impressions: it's somewhere between homework and discovery, trackier than i expected overall. it's not as bubblegum as discovery, nor is it a banger of a record but its very strong and very lovable nonetheless. it definitely has a uniform sound (the key word is "granulated" maybe?) and you can tell it was made in a compressed timeframe. on first blush i don't like this as much as discovery but i strongly prefer it to no angel.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:51 (twenty-one years ago)

i keep wondering how many people will see this thread and ignore it for a while.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:53 (twenty-one years ago)

nothing should ever be compared to discovery though
that is like an unattainable level of quality, even for the same band

it's one hell of a record, that's for sure

boo, Monday, 24 January 2005 08:54 (twenty-one years ago)

nah, needs more cowbell.

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Does anyone think if there was a movie about Dido, that Renee Zellweger would play her?

Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Monday, 24 January 2005 08:56 (twenty-one years ago)

You sneaky Bastards!

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Monday, 24 January 2005 09:05 (twenty-one years ago)

oh, and THANK YOU

Forksclovetofu (Forksclovetofu), Monday, 24 January 2005 09:06 (twenty-one years ago)

night kids

mark p (Mark P), Monday, 24 January 2005 09:07 (twenty-one years ago)

stronger album but a bad choice for singles
the 1st album had 3 gr8 singles and the rest was filler.
did is a hottie.

dydoh, Monday, 24 January 2005 09:30 (twenty-one years ago)

AHHH IT'S ALL SO SLOOOOOOOOOOOW. Totally unmixable (maybe brainwasher...)

tylero (tylero), Monday, 24 January 2005 09:33 (twenty-one years ago)

you can do pretty good beavis-and-butthead-esque singing of a lot of the melodies on the album though...

dunnnnnnnnn dun duh....dunnnnnnn dun dnnnnn

tylero (tylero), Monday, 24 January 2005 09:38 (twenty-one years ago)
