Occasionally, I'll hear a song and think, "that would be great as a mash-up with [X]." But I don't have the means to actually make them myself (except in a really limited, amateurish way).

Recently:

Vocals from "Sweet Dreams Are Made of This" (Eurythmics) over backing track (esp. bassline) from "Seven Nation Army" (White Stripes)

Vocals from "Bootylicious" (Destiny's Child) over (already instrumental) "Cosimo" (To Rococo Rot)

Some blend of "Slow" (Kylie Minogue) with "Yeah!" (Usher/Lil Jon)

Mash-up makers, feel free to use my ideas.

Sorry. No offence. But actually, I have found that a great many mashups have been stunning in how they chose two to fit together...

e.g. "Let it Be / It Wasn't Me"
and "Crazy Little Fool on the Hill"..

One of the least was when someone put "Strict Machine" together with "Spread your love" as they sound so similar. Um, fine. It's not bad actually. But not surprising...

(If I had to choose 2 to link together, I'd probably end up with 2 uninspirig choices)
