The best I can do is Peaches. But she's too obvious, surely?

hull hole (hull hole), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:23 (twenty-one years ago)

jacko! he's fuuuuuuuucked up. GG was a saint compared to him.

scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:25 (twenty-one years ago)

As soon as Jacko actually diddles a child onstage I'll agree with you.

Joseph McCombs (Joseph McCombs), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Extreme Elvis is the obvious answer.

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:31 (twenty-one years ago)

peaches needs to shit onstage more.

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:32 (twenty-one years ago)

That guy from the Vines with Asperger's Syndrome has the potential.

Joseph McCombs (Joseph McCombs), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Extreme Elvis performs naked, has the requisite feces-throwing, piss-spraying routine, etc. I'm not entirely sure if he bothers to make records though (I kinda doubt it). One time he performed "Masters of Reality" in its entirety.

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Costes.

Ian John50n (orion), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:35 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm with Stencil. Like I said Peaches way too tame and the lack of poo throwing is unforgivable.
Does anybody do strap on bumbleebee headbanging plastic cocks?

hull hole (hull hole), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:35 (twenty-one years ago)

xpost: ack, beat me to it, old man.

Snappy (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I felt a bit ill on the night so seeing people gargling on each others watery shit (& washing their mouths out with a young ladies pee) only made my head pound more.

What impressed me the most was how well worked out the whole thing was, even when they were licking each others dirty arses they were still pulling what looked
like rehearsed dance moves. I liked the stage set as well. They might be a bunch of French nuts but they have vision.

Ian John50n (orion), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Extreme Elvis? Do tell or send me to another thread please. I am old you know and find it hard to stay with you kids!

hull hole (hull hole), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Costes might be too sincere of an artist, tho. And the piss is real, but is the shit?

Snappy (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:39 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm sorry guys, there really is no contest: http://www.extremeelvis.com/
[NOT WORK SAFE DUH]

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I do not think the shit is real. And whether or not G.G. Allin was sincere (not lyrically, per se, but as an artist) is an argument for another thread. xpost

Ian John50n (orion), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I clicked on this thread to submit both Costes and eXtreme Elvis... farking hiveminded.

Shakey Mo, Costes is an admitted huge influence for eXtreme Elvis.

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:41 (twenty-one years ago)

i think of costes as a gg contemporary.

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:43 (twenty-one years ago)

ihttp://www.stlouiswalkoffame.org/images/bob-costas.gif ??????!?!?!?!

Site Admistrator (deangulberry), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Costes & crew were polite and cleaned up after themselves at the show I saw.
That said, eXtreme Elvis has some cute fanz.

Snappy (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:46 (twenty-one years ago)

dan

dan bunnybrain (dan bunnybrain), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:57 (twenty-one years ago)

Costes wins this, I think, if only because he released an album called Rape GG. Plus, he's got about a week's worth of MP3s on his site.

pdf (Phil Freeman), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 22:58 (twenty-one years ago)

c'mon people costes is so 80s. a contemporary. wtf.

hstencil (hstencil), Wednesday, 26 January 2005 23:05 (twenty-one years ago)

they broke up, but bad luck 13 riot extravaganza was insane. they were pretty bad, musically -- a halfhearted hardcore band that also listened to a bit of melvins and a bit of napalm death. but their shows were just ridiculous. they were "boys" with this straight edge crew called the FSU who would bring baseball bats wrapped in barbed wire to shows and just beat the shit out of the fans. on stage, they'd light shit on fire and punch eachother in the face. they used to stab one another with really long needles too. disturbingggggggg.

rob mackey (mackey), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:07 (twenty-one years ago)

The age of GG Allin is over. It is now the age of Belle and Sebastian.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:10 (twenty-one years ago)

There is a new local band that is headed in this direction. they were absolutely fucking notorious within a week of their first gig. i'm not telling their name 'cause a modernday GG would totally google himself

Sonny, Ah!!1 (Sonny A.), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:11 (twenty-one years ago)

no you are just old. xpost

Ian John50n (orion), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Remember, Ian, "Nothing's Shocking."

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Perry Farrell OTM!

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah; I like Jane's Addiction. So?

Ian John50n (orion), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Why should there be "a GG Allin type for the new century?" GG wasn't so great anyway. Matter of fact, he kind of sucked.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:42 (twenty-one years ago)

he's better than the killers.

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:43 (twenty-one years ago)

No, but he was better than bardo pond and the suntanama.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:45 (twenty-one years ago)

time to call the old folks' home.

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:47 (twenty-one years ago)

bardo pond and suntanma are for oldsters.

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:49 (twenty-one years ago)

better that than oldsters still wishing they were teenagers.

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 27 January 2005 04:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Not if you're Marc Bolan:

Teen riot structure, ankle deep in fear
Babies lost in bellies and the oracle can't hear
A demon angel demi-god blasted through the night
Me and Lucy Lightning holding on real tight

An ancient Lord in wonder rung upon my bell
I fed him with my nightmares And he ate my dreams as well
All London was in blazes burning to the sound
Of deep galactic tragedies in stereophonic sound

A tempest teen of stature in Gatsby hat and cloak
Licked upon my lollipop, but I didn't get the joke
As devastation mounted my wardrobes almost burned
The teens held hands on shifting sands and wonder what they learnt

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 January 2005 05:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Anyway, I don't, for what it's worth. And gimme a break you don't like any music that's "teenage?"

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 January 2005 05:10 (twenty-one years ago)

OH NO I LIKE THE A*TEENS' "BOUNCING OFF THE CEILING" AND IT MEANS THAT I MUST WISH I WAS A NINE YEAR OLD! OH NO!

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Thursday, 27 January 2005 05:18 (twenty-one years ago)

tim i love you.

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 27 January 2005 05:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Costes uses fake shit.

pudding? refried beans?

eman (eman), Thursday, 27 January 2005 05:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Do the Genitorturers still exist? Their show used to climax with a naked girl being inverted on a perspex crucifix, then having a roman candle inserted into her while the band played 'Ace Of Spades'. Now that's entertainment.

Cecil B. de Millions?

mark grout (mark grout), Thursday, 27 January 2005 10:33 (twenty-one years ago)

six years pass...

What happened here?

http://www.extremeelvis.com/

Radio XL1 (S-), Thursday, 19 May 2011 17:49 (fifteen years ago)

"eXtreme Elvis is hibernating."

The site is still up and the pages are there. I suspect they just didn't want to maintain it anymore because he slowed or stopped his performances. The last date on one of the interior pages is sometime in 2005.

http://angryton.wordpress.com/2010/01/01/who-is-extreme-elvis-and-what-happened-to-him/

This line is unintentionally humorous:

"Pictures can be found many places on the web – and the FBI must be pretty moronic, since many pictures and content can still be accessed on the EE site – they just shut down the
front page."
