i think hes one of hip hop's best writers, maybe one of the best writers in popular music during the last twenty years. hes not as showy as a lot of 'clever' rappers were during PE's reign so hes not a punchline MC, he doesnt have an amazing complex flow like nas, although i would place chuck's actual writing above nas. is this wrong, using literary methods of analysis for song lyrics? or is chuck actually just as complex in the way he navigates and flows around a beat than nas, plus better, because his lyrics tend to be better constructed, slightly denser, and obtuse at times?

good job he 'navigates and flows around a beat' because if he didn't he would be a cunt. Never be without the latest charts.

He has a voice that commands authority. I think thats a pretty big part of it.

Yes. His logic and grammar can sometimes be inchoate, as he always prefers a rhyme to a reason.

a brace in rap can never be fortold, yeah boy. Watch out for sirens or the channel you are on will become a cunt. I speak from experience.
