I saw this had just been added to Launch's videos.

1) Who the hell are they?

2) Where has this come from?

3) Why is it so fucking good?

Nicolay (production) and Phonte (vocals, also a member of Little Brother), the duo who compose Foreign Exchange, are regulars on the okayplayer.com message boards. Nicolay is from the Netherlands, and Phonte is from the United States. They never met in person before or during the making of the album; they collaborated through instant messaging/e-mail/snail-mail for the entire album.

I think it's the xylophone... or glockenspiel, whatever. and the bass. But by god... this is the business and three-quarters.

It's not even one of the better songs on the album. Nicolay is the pride & joy of the Dutch hiphop-scene now, but I have to say the album starts to sound a bit samey after a while. "Raw Life", "Let's Move" & "All That You Are" are the best tracks IMO. The video is cool though.

thought it was a bit yawnsome really, slightly too obviously post-SV/dilla etc.
