Dud! Unless you want to hear a version of the song that's more self-righteous and sniveling...

why else would I be listening to a Morrissey album? Classic.

Very classic. Also a fuck of a lot better than everything else Paul Weller did post-Jam.

yes very classic

Classic. Didn't he record it around the time of "Kill Uncle"? If he'd included the song on the album it might have rivalled "Your Arsenal."

"I loved and love Johnny Marr, but I feel tremendous indifference to Bruce and Rick."

"A fuck of a lot better than everything else Paul Weller did post-Jam"

Better than "My Ever Changing Moods?"

Tim Ellison (Tim Ellison), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 23:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Not as good as "Ghosts."

It has Vic Reeves on backing vocals, which makes it mildly interesting. Although like most of Morrissey's special guest stars (Chrissie Hynde, Suggs, Linder) he is very low in the mix.

I think "I Have Forgiven Jesus" would've benefitted from some input from Harry Hill, if only a "what are the chances of that happening?" in the fadeout.
