I love the way the Fleetwood/McVie rhythm section will set up a monster groove and keep it up for a verse, keep it up for another verse and then the tension will finally break on the chorus, and McVie will play some catchy, memorable lick.
No one has mentioned the balls Mick keeps on his drum stool yet.

Thing is, he's not really a stylist; unlike Paul Thompson, Ringo or Christophe Schneider, you can't tell it's him with just two bars of skin beating. I think that's what makes a great rock drummer--inflection, tone, identity.
