For a time in the early to mid 90s, Cresta was omnipresent in the used bin/ cut-out rack (along with choice faves Balloon, Spirea X, The Dylans etc). I still own a copy, but haven't listened to it in many years. I used to listen them frequently around 1991, but at that time I championed everything that sounded even remotely like the Stone Roses (which they certainly did). I know they released at least one record after that, but I can't say I paid much attention.

Also: "maybe because Hollow Men is also the name of some crappy new sketch show on Comedy Central?" - I assume both were probably named after the T.S. Eliot poem.

I wasn't really trying to tie any causal relationship or shared inspiration between then. I was just trying to help him figure out why his page was suddenly getting so many hits. if I had to guess I probably would have said they were both named after the movie where Kevin Bacon was an invisible rapist!

"if I had to guess I probably would have said they were both named after the movie where Kevin Bacon was an invisible rapist!" - that really would be much more interesting.
BTW, do you know how to italicize text in message boxes?
