So, what would've/should've been on C91 had the NME put it out?

2. Disco Inferno - "Bleed Clean"

Actually, make that Disco Inferno track "Broken"

All good suggestions. Would Talk Talk and Slint be on there? I know they probably should, but I'm not certain whether Spiderland was in print at the time there, and I'm not sure if Talk Talk would've been too popular for the NME (not to mention that their reviewer for Laughing Stock famously dismissed it). Who else had good albums that year...Julian Cope and Throwing Muses wouldn't be listed, but Chapterhouse would. This Mortal Coil possibly... I don't know any songs from Blue Lines but I imagine Massive Attack would be in there.

15. The Wedding Present - Suck
16. Bleach - Bethesda

That'll do. I would have had 'To Here Knows When' as the MBV song, by the way.

15. Kitchens of Distinction - "Quick as Rainbows"

Yeah, maybe that would've worked better, but I thought "When You Sleep" would be a good opener.
