I'm looking for stuff like (french act) Telepopmusik. you know, loungy, smooth, very european(or cosmopolitan if you want) music sung by a jazzy sounding female vocalist. accoustomed with a a touch of electronic sounds, of course. does anyone know what kind of music I'm talking about? if you do, please recommend me something.

Try Herbert's Bodily Functions album, which is all that you're asking for and more. "It's Only" is a standout track. What else? Maybe even "The Three Ws" from the Matthew Herbert Big Band album, sung by the gorgeous Mara Carlyle.
