if i was you my head would be exploding with indecision. though i have heard juan is an amazing dj from friends in LA. the last time they saw him he played spacey tracky headfuck detroit techno (suburban knight style) gradually shading into jazzier UR-type material.

OTOH i have listened to "saturday nite live 2" more than any other mix cd this year (except maybe my doc martin mixes).

maybe you should slsk that and wax trax mastermix and compare.

phil, April 10 there is an 10,000 person trance/techno party on the waterfront in Odaiba Y2000 9am - 9pm. Carl Craig, Ken Ishii and Miss Kitten are playing on the house/techno stage. If the weather is nice and you don't mind Japanese hippies, it might be a nice day.

That party is called Nagisa Music Festival.

Saw Juan play once at Lost, but I was pretty out of it and don't remember much about his set, except that Derrick May blew him out of the water that night. I think he's pretty kind of reverential - like he sticks to the "classics" a lot.
